Yes, that is exactly how it goes. I do not like when this happens: "Other thoughts vanish" so I tried to keep something with me to write it all doen.
Lovely dear, I'm marvelled by your haikus - poetry never comes easily to me.
I like the idea of "imagination flowing from the tip of the pen," as well as the focus of the second haiku.
Clear, concise, vivid.
