Six Word Saturday

New stylist, new style, verdict out

This reminded me of a haiku I wrote a long time ago:

New stylish hair-do
Confident, looking pretty
He doesn't notice

Today, he did notice and even says he likes it. I just hope I'll like it.

I have found that a happy domestic life involves noticing when Mrs N has a new haircut!

This happens to me all the time! No one notices and you feel like such a frump. I'm glad he noticed today. And whenever you change your hair, it takes a while to get used to. And I can never recreate what was done in the salon so you might have to wait and see how it ends up looking every day.

The only people that ever notice new highlights or a haircut on me are the teen boys at work. It is good that Mr. Funny doesn't notice because that way he doesn't notice new shoes, purses, clothes, etc.....

Mine goes more like this:

Usual stylist, usual style, feeling good.

Here's how you (ok, I) make people notice - you go an entire year without a haircut. By the last six months, you look like a horrid frump. When you finally get your hair cut, have them hack off at least 6 inches. The husband didn't get a chance to notice because he'd already been told I was going and that he WOULD notice. Or else.

Thanks for playing!
