Haiku Prompt for Mama's Losin' It

This week's writing prompt at Mama's Losin' It included writing a haiku about what you see out your window. I can never resist haiku - love them!

puddles under swings
reflect dripping pewter skies
playtime chased inside

Just a short piece again this time, because most of my writing time is going to Nano.

Hey there - just wanted to pop in and say I really hope the migraine is feeling better (saw your comment at SITS roll call). Migraines are NO fun. Wishing you quiet time to rest in a dark room....

The best haiku I've seen so far... really beautiful imagery. Well done.

How funny you mentioned Write or Die on my blog...we just talked about it at our write-in last night so I tried it out for the first time today. Fun, though I'm not brave enough for kamikaze!
